Wreaths Across America

Each year, Lynchburg Composite Squadron (MAR-VA-017) proudly joins thousands across the nation by honoring our fallen veterans through participation in the annual Wreaths Across America event. Members of Lynchburg Composite Squadron participate locally by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heros at Old City Cemetery located at 401 Taylor Street, Lynchburg, VA 24551.

This will assist us in laying wreaths on as many graves as possible. Our goal is to lay a wreath on each of the 2,400 veteran graves found at Old City Cemetery, and you can help us honor these veterans with your contribution.

A portion of the funds goes toward helping Lynchburg Composite Squadron empower our members to serve our community, state and nation.

Each year the squadron supports the event by providing traffic flow and parking assistance, color guard, and

the distribution and laying of wreaths on the graves of our fallen veterans. 

 The ceremonial wreaths represent each branch of the service, and POW/MIA, and are encouraged to be on display as part of each National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony held.
